About us
About Us:
ZenG, Mindful Pathways to Mental Health for Youth, is a collaborative Erasmus+ project created to address the growing need for accessible mental health support among young people. The project combines mindfulness practices, emotional resilience training, digital learning tools, and non-formal education methodologies to support youth workers and the young people they serve.
The project was born from the recognition that many young people, especially those facing economic, social, or geographical barriers, do not have consistent access to mental health resources. Traditional services may be limited, difficult to reach, or affected by stigma. ZenG responds by offering practical, inclusive, and youth-friendly tools that can be used in educational, community, and youth work environments.
Through research and needs analysis, the project identifies the mental health challenges experienced by young people and the support needs of youth workers. These findings guide the development of educational materials, mindfulness resources, training modules, and digital tools designed to promote stress management, emotional regulation, self-care, and peer support.
The ZenG consortium brings together three organisations with complementary expertise in social inclusion, mental health, education, digital development, equality, and community engagement. Together, they aim to create sustainable resources that remain available beyond the project duration and can be used by youth organisations, educators, mental health stakeholders, and local communities across Europe.
ZenG is more than a project; it is a shared effort to normalize conversations around mental health, reduce stigma, and provide young people with lifelong tools for emotional well-being.
